Can I have more than one dental insurance provider?
I want to get braces, but I am looking at about $5000 to get them. The dental insurance provider pays only up to $1000 total for orthodontic work. Is it legal for me to get 5 dental insurance providers so that I can have braces paid for? I figure the premiums on 5 insurance policies will be less than $5000. Also, if I can get them, how long after getting the procedure done must I keep the provider? What other options are out there? I don't have $5000, but I have always been self conscious of my teeth and would really like to get them fixed so I'm not thinking about them in the back of my mind every time I smile.

Dental insurance providers with orthodontist coverage?
I currently have MetLife Dental which does not inlcude orthodontist coverage. I went to an orthodonitst and was advised to get invisalign to keep my teeth from gapping. Two years ago, I had molding applied to my two front teeth to close the gap and it worked and was wonderful. However, my teeth are gapping apart again. The orthodontist stated that Invisalign is the best alternative to permanently close and stop the gapping because my teeth are very straight and do not have an overbite. Is there any insurance provider who offers orthodonist coverage to adults or do you know of any discounts available?
