My tooth filling came out and I dont have dental insurance. Can I get insurance and get filling done?
If yes, how much can I expect to pay? Also can I enroll in a dental insurance plan, get the filling done and come out of the insurance plan next month? I am currently based in Dallas and am a student. My insurance plan with Aetna doesn't have dental insurance in it.

How does wholefoods employee dental insurance work?
So I work for wholefoods and just got the health and dental insurance...I got the health insurance card in the mail but I haven't received any card for the dental insurance. I was wondering if anyone knows if I will get a card? Or how the process goes? I want to get a cleaning and I don't know how to go about finding a dentist without the insurance card...thanks for the help.

Need dental insurance?
I was diagnosed with TMJ about 3 years ago and had severe pain on and off, but lately it's just been getting to the point where I can't take it anymore, so i saw a dentist for free first visit only though and she told me I needed a few fillings in order to get this " mouth block" thing so my tmj goes away over time wear it at night or something and I have no idea about insurance at all, I tried applying for government insurace but never heard back from them, waited months...nothing, so I need help to find some cheap insurance that would cover this, I can pay for it, but I don't have a lot of money to throw around right now, any help would be appreciated.I live near Detroit, Michigan.

What dental insurance/discount dental plans cover sedation dentistry?
I have a tooth that really needs to come out. I've been dealing with toothaches for a while, and it's getting to be too much. The problem is, I'm terrified of the dentist doctors in general. During my last trip to the doctor, I had a panic attack. As a result, I've been looking into sedation dentistry. Are there any dental insurance plans or discount dental plans that cover sedation dentistry?

How can i get on my Sisters dental insurance?

What's the best dental insurance to go with?
I asked my new dentist office the other day what type of dental insurance they take and the receptionist said they take Metlife, Delta dental, and Cigna. Now from what i seen online from their website Metlife only covers FL CA TX. Delta dental DOESN'T cover 44 states in the U.S. and I couldn't find any information about cigna. To make a long story short i have to have tooth 4 surgically removed because it has a cavity on the inside so bad its getting to the bone plus im gonna need partials and the dentist i am going to only takes them three types of insurance and I live in SC. Which would be the best to go with for my case?

My son needs to see a dentist for an absessed tooth, but we have no dental insurance. PLEASE HELP!?
My husband and I pay for a high deductible health insurance through his employer, however they do not offer dental or vision. On average he brings home between $1500 to $3000 per month depending on the weather, putting us above the income limit for Medicaid, CHIPs, and any local sliding fee program. My 8 year old son has an absessed tooth and needs dental care right away. We can't afford to see a dentist but are " too wealthy" to get assistance I have done some research and it's quite depressing but if we lived in a broken home my kids would be fully covered by medicaid... if I abandoned my kids at a foster home they would be fully covered... if my kids lived with ANYONE other than their natural parents they would be fully covered regardless of that households income. What is wrong with this country? We also make too much money for my daughter to go to the public preschool. In order to get an education or adequet dental, vision and health I would either have to divorce my husband or he would have to quit his job. What am I supposed to do??? HELP

I'm confused about my new dental insurance?
My company switched their main dental insurance company this past week. not a big deal, but I've never been a 'dental insurance guru" , so thought I'd come here and ask. plus i'm tired of talking to automated customer service voices. My current dentist office is not part of my new dental insurance's " network" . They did say, they will " take" my insurance so I can still be seen. They already said that the insurance I now have is not " contracted" with them, but to minimize my out of pocket expenses, they'll continue to take me.I looked online through my new dental insurance, and the office I'm currently being seen by IS NOT in the insurance's " network" . Question 1 If I'm understanding this information correctly, if I see a dentist within the company's " network" of dentists, my out of pocket costs would be cheaper than my current dentist, because they're not contracted with them?Question 2 Is it possible to see 3 different dentists for the same procedure, and be charged 3 different prices? 1 price for " networked" dentist, 1 price for " non contracted" dentist, 1 price for no insurance Again, not a guru, so trying to minimize my out of pocket expenses, and if I'm understanding the information correct, I should drop my current dentist and switch to a " networked" dentist with my new insuranceThanks ahead of time

How does Dental Insurance work?
So I went to Dentalworks today because they advertised free exam and Xray for 1$I found out I need 6000$ worth of work done including a root canal and a crown. Now I'm not expecting to get totally free dental care, but I don't have 6000 dollars sitting in my back pocket.I'm currently a full time student and I get disability SSI every month to live off of.I was thinking about getting dental insurance but how would that work? Would they cover or reduce the cost of my bills if I pay a monthly fee? If I can't get insurance, is there any reduce cost dental work I can get?My zip code is 60139 BTW.
