What about dental plans are they any good?
Instead of national health care in the US, shouldn't we start small, maybe with a national dental plan?
It would seem easier to manage, would cost less as we have a plethora of dentists looking for patients, and could be a good blue print via trial and error for something bigger. What do you think?

Is oral surgery covered by dental plans or major medical?
I was referred to an oral surgeon for widsom tooth removal and they told me I had to front 475 dollars and then they would refund me the portion of the balance not covered by insurance...assuming that I had to use my dental coverage. My question is...wouldn't it be covered by my major medical BCBS of IL PPO ?

Can I stop going to a dentist even after signing a dental plan?
I went to my dentist 2 months ago after years of not going fear of dentist due to past painful experiences . He told me what I needed and he told me price and then figured out how to pay for it and signed it. I haven't been happy with him. I don't feel he listens to me and is more about getting stuff done to get money instead of hearing about being in pain and helping me. For instance I have swollen gland and earache and I have dental pain on that side. I told him about it and went on doing what appointmet was for. Can I stop going there even though I signed a dental payment plan?
What is a good dental plan that doesn't have a long wait period and covers pre-exsisting conditons?

Reviews of careington 500 dental plan?
Does anyone use this plan?
Why are dental plans in Washington not as good as those in California, even through the same company (Delta De?
In California, my dental plan covered so much Silver fillings are almost obsolete in Cali, so most good dental plans covered 100 % of composite white fillings. But here in Washington state, I can't find any dental plan that will give good coverage like that, and amalgam silver fillings are still popular here. What's up with that? Is it because Washingtonians just don't take care of their teeth like Californians do, so the dental insurance companies don't want to offer such good coverage and have to pay to fix such jacked up teeth???
