I need to remove my 3 wisdom teeth surgically. I'm looking for the cheapest and easiest way. I'm looking to get dental insurance but idk wats the difference between ppo and hmo. I'm 23 college student and on a budget. What's my best option? Ppo or hmo ?

Charges for dental work not performed on an IV sedation?
My wife was charged $725 dollars for an IV sedation procedure. They stopped the procedure after 30 minutes after the start because her heart rate fluctuated. After a full cardio workup the dentist recommended that we have the procedure and other dental work 20k performed under general anesthesia in the OR which we did. The dentist came out at the end of the procedure to inform me that she will require another procedure of the same magnitude. I received a bill for the procedure 18K roughly. They charged the full amount of the initial sedation 725 dollars they said they used some medication to sedate her and because the doctors time was blocked off . On top of this a charge of 1,500 for the doctor to do the OR procedure on top of the 2,800 we paid for the OR was charged but never discussed with me or my wife. I received an email stating that the 1,500 should have been explained to us and a sorry, and the 725 charge because we used the doctors time. I'm a healthcare professional and a director for a large healthcare company. I can't believe they are still charging us for the 725 for the procedure which was never done, and ultimately led to a more lucrative charge i.e. a GA procedure. Right now we are at a stand still. The dentist wants my wife to have another OR procedure of the same magnitude. To complicate matters my wife developed whole R side posterior scalp numbness and pain after the initial OR procedure for which she is currently seeking care MRI, CT scan, to rule in out Occipital Neuralgia I'm looking to gather information and knowledge to make an informed healthcare decision. I don't feel that my wife and I are being treated fairly but i wanted to gather other medical professional opinions on the matter. Someone please lend some advice.Frustrated in Delaware

How does dental bridge work or your mouth?
My top tooth on the left hand side to the very front 1 aches a wee bit, it hurt more earlier but i think that was just panic. I have had a pain killer and put bonjela on the gum because that looked swore red and I flossed and blood came out. I have a dentist app on Tuesday. Major for Dental School?
I have an Associate degree. I'm looking into attending Campbell University to complete a Bachelor's in Applied Science. Being that I already have my associates, a lot of options were suggested and this one of them is Campbell has an extended campus that offers the Bachelor degree and it's an accelerated program. The semesters are 8 weeks, students take 3 classes per 8 weeks. The program is Accredited. I'll also be allowed to take courses at the main campus if I want to take more than 3. I'm wondering if by doing this program Accelerated would it affect my chances of getting into dental school in a negative way? Any thoughts?The predental courses can be taken along with the accelerated program.
