Abscessed tooth! I need low cost dental care ASAP?
Last year a filling fell out of my last back molar. Quite a bit of the tooth fell apart and out of my mouth soon after. I was saving to have it fixed, but I lost my job a few months ago. Now all my money goes to school and rent. I do not have any extra money.I also do not have any family or anyone, who could lend me funds in any way.I've been living on ramen for 6 months because I could swallow it and not cause tooth pain. When chewing became too much I switched to protein shakes. My tooth is now at the point I can suck through a straw and or drink much without immense pain.I do not have 8 hours to sit in a office and maybe have a chance of getting looked at. If I miss a certain number of days in class and lab, I lose grant money. I've missed my quota already just trying to get someone...anyone to look at my tooth. NothingI'm in over $150,00 student loan debt, school comes first and I know it will be ok in the long run BUT...my tooth sure don't know that. I do not qualify for public aid or medical help trust me I have tried everything Please don't tell me to go to the Dental Clinics at UIC. I've been there and they require full payment upfront, no exceptions. I can make cash payments of about $20 $40 a week. No dentist or so called " free" clinic has been willing to work with me.I really scared for my health, I know the tooth is past abscessed. I just don't know what to do.Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Any advice would be very welcomed.
Desperately need low cost dental care in NH or MA?
I just learned that my adult, disabled, low income son has 9 broken teeth and he is in constant pain. He has already paid $600 to have 3 teeth pulled this year. I never knew the extent to this problem until today. He has medicare which does not cover dental and NH medicaid does not cover dental for adults. There seem to be no dental schools in NH or VT, I did find 1 in MA that he is going to call on Monday. Can anyone suggest another organization that he can apply to for help with this dental problem?
I don't have dental insurance. Are there any resources that I can look into for low cost dental care?
I am looking for an actual " low cost" dental or medical healthcare insurance plan and NOT a " discounted" dental care service such as the AmeriPlan services. I am in need of oral surgery and possibly a couple dental implants or bridge work, which of course is very expensive. Can anyone help me by providing a list of beneficial information? I promise you that your feedback is highly appreciated.....thanks
Free or low cost dental care in Pennsylvania.?
I don't have insurance and I think I have a cavity. I want to get it filled before it gets worse. According to the Department of Public Welfare website, we should be eligible for medical assistance, etc, but we can't get approved. Anyway, I want to know if anyone knows how I can get some help with dental care. All of the dental clinics and dental universities are too far away from me. Thank You. Please don't give me stupid, cocky answers Okay, well, how about New Jersey? I live on the border near Philipsburg and Belvidere.I am going to Aspen Dental today because I found a coupon on their website for a free exam and x rays, but I have to worry about the rest of the procedures.By the way, would you READ the full question BEFORE answering?First of all, I was not EXPECTING help from welfare, I was just using it as an example to show that I am lower income. That is all, thank you...please read the question before you go jumping all over other subjects
Where in San Diego county can an adult, blind, on SSI, no dental insurance, get free or low cost dental care?
I am in a lot of pain and need to see a dentist but I have no money to do so. I am over 21 and here in California the Medi Cal or Medicaid for blind adults on SSI does not include any dental care? What can I do? What are my options? Does anyone know of a place for free or low cost dental care or the best dental insurance for a very low income blind adult individual who really needs a few root canals? I want to avoid extractions if possible. I want to avoid extractions because I don't want to be toothless in the front side area since I am no old yet and I want to preserve a sense of feeling that I look acceptable. Thank you. There are no dental colleges in the San Diego area.
I live in Bastrop county, Texas. Does anyone know of free or low cost dental care in this area?
I have a horrible tooth ache. It bothers me ALL the time. I live in a very rural area in Texas. Bastrop county to be a bit more specific. Any suggestions on low or no cost dental care? At this point I am tempted to pull my teeth myself, but I am chicken, my mouth hurts so bad.
Validity of low cost dental care in the UK?
I live in the States. Last spring '09 I fell off my bicycle and knocked out 9 of my teeth, only 4 of which were able to be reinstalled, so to speak. So I have 4 terrible discolored funny shaped teeth in my upper jaw, and I'm missing a row of 5 in my bottom jaw.Got a quote from one of the biggest dental franchises here $28,000 17,600.63 for proper dental implants and restoration. Yikes. I'm barely scraping by on $18,000 year, I can't remotely afford that.Saw an article on MSN or some such website mentioning the ridiculously inexpensive medical care that Americans are availing themselves of overseas, and it's really struck a chord with me. I'm walking the Appalachian Trail this coming spring, but when I'm done I'd love to really get my teeth taken care of.Is it really as simple as hopping on a flight over the pond? Do other countries really treat your medical needs this well even though you're not a citizen?I'd thoroughly appreciate any advice that you can give me I think I MIGHT be able to afford some dentures in the meantime, but I'm only 26, I'd love to have some real teeth at this point.Thank you By private I'm guessing you mean insurance? Yes, I have absolutely no insurance well, for my car I do, but that's the law here, otherwise I'd not have that either.I had seen implants being offered for as low as 495 per tooth a sight cheaper than here in the States.I had seen implants being offered for as low as 495 per tooth a sight cheaper than here in the States.

I need low cost dental care in yuba city california?
Free or low cost dental care for working people who live NEAR Duval County FL without insurance.?
My husband is in great need of dental care. We both work and make too much for government assistance but dont make enough to cover dental care with out insurance. Neither of our jobs offer this coverage anyway. Most of the places in our area that we have found with free or low cost dental care are in Duval county. All of them require that you you either have to live or work there and we live in a small town just outside of Duval County. Our local health dept only sees patients age 3 20. My question is Is there anyone out there who knows of a program that can help us? Or is there a dentist that can help or something like that?
